(April 1, 2014) – Rising UK alternative rock five-piece MORNING PARADE today reveal the release date, album cover and track listing for their second full-length, Pure Adulterated Joy, which is slated for release on May 6, 2014 through So Recordings/Caroline. The 10-track set was produced by Ben Allen (Animal Collective, CeeLo Green) while the artwork, lyric video for “Alienation,” and first proper forthcoming video were all created by acclaimed visual artist Christopher Mills.
Black Flag has announced its first set of tour dates since ousting lead singer Ron Reyes on November 24. The newest incarnation of Black Flag includes founding member Greg Ginn on guitar, Gregory Moore on drums, and new singer Mike Vallely. Since Dave Klein left the band previously, it is unknown who will be on bass. Additionally, right now, Black Flag's lineup is identical to Ginn's other band, Good for You. 

Black Flag's first post-Reyes show will be June 11 in Dallas, Texas. Following that, Black Flag plays Madison, WI on June 16. After that, Black Flag Amnesia Rockfest in Quebec, which runs June 20 through June 21. Interesting,Henry Rollins is also scheduled to appear at Amnesia Rockfest, though chances of a live collaboration are slim.[Ed's Note- if any of you are going to any of these shows, we'd love a live review] Also, both Danzig and The Misfits are scheduled to play Amnesia Rockfest. Brooklyn-based punk band Cerebral Ballzy have released a new track titled "Speed Wobbles." The track is the b-side to "Better In Leather" from their forthcoming album Jaded & Faded and is available for free download here. The band will be selling physical copies of a limited cassette and 7" featuring "Better In Leather" and "Speed Wobbles" at their North American tour dates later this spring. Cerebral Ballzy will be playing shows OFF! and performing at the SXSW and Spillover Music Festivals. All upcoming shows are listed below.

Cerebral Ballzy announced in the fall that they had signed to Cult Records. The label's owner, Julian Casablancas, says Cerebral Ballzy are "probably the coolest band in the world at the moment, a truly legit modern hardcore/punk band, and by far my favorite. It's beyond exciting to try and help them in any and all ways we can and we're honored to put their deliriously great new record out on Cult Records." The band's new album, produced by TV On The Radio's Dave Sitek will be out this year, with more details to follow.

Cerebral Ballzy's album is highly anticipated after the band's new track "Better In Leather" premiered as Zane Lowe's 'Hottest Record In The World' on BBC Radio 1 and the track is streaming at Soundcloud:

This is the second time the band have received Hottest Record In The World. The first time was for their track "Be Your Toy," before the band played the Reading/Leeds festival earlier this year. "Better In Leather" and "Be Your Toy" will both be included on Cerebral Ballzy's sophomore effort, Jaded & Faded.

Industrial synth-pop, Big Black Delta has a new spaced out video, Huggin & Kissing, which the track is also the title of their debut LP. Thee Oh Sees have announced their follow-up to 2013's great album Floating Coffin. Drop is out April 19 (Record Store Day) via Dwyer's Castle Face imprint.

According to their publicist, the LP was recorded in a banana ripening warehouse (no joke) with hair-farming studio. How To Enter:

1. Utilize your skills on ANY instrument to cover/re-imagine Anti-Flag's "Power To The Peaceful" from 'The Terror State' record. Remember, you're using your imagination to create your own unique cover. We will not be accepting submissions of individuals playing along with the track. Have fun with this! Get creative! NOTE: If you wish to submit a FULL BAND cover, you may. However, if a band wins the contest, they will win a prize as a band (no individual prizes).

2. Record the cover video of the song. Your video does not have to be visual.

3. Upload to YouTube with the title "Power To The Peaceful - Anti-Flag Cover Contest", and include your name in the description.
